Trip to Clearwater Florida April 2016

Missing our flight out of KCI could have been disaster. But when you have daughters with such positive young spirits (and dad has another type of spirits) there are no worries at all.

A super-fun start to our trip with a nice breakfast and company meeting while the girls visited the beach.

We visited the Clearwater Beach Marine Aquarium, which is a rescue and science organization as much as it is a popular destination for tourists to see sea creatures.

After leaving the aquarium we ventured across town to find a swim suit for Anna. Back at the hotel, the girls went swimming while dad attended to some work back in the room.

Skies finally starting to clear. A jam-packed day of shopping, visiting Airheads, hitting the beach and more.

Girls woke up full of energy Sunday morning and we walked to Duncan Donuts for breakfast. While there, the girls discussed why they were called "donuts" when there are not any nuts in them. More deep philosophy on this trip.
